There is something in crochet that machines cannot do. A gentle, almost imperceptible irregularity, which reminds us that behind every piece, there are two hands, a thread, and a lot of patience.
An ancestral technique, an assumed modernity
Crochet is one of the oldest forms of textile work. Born in the 19th century in Europe, it has been passed down from generation to generation, from mothers to daughters, in French countryside as well as in Parisian workshops. Today, we are reinventing it — with contemporary silhouettes, natural materials, and particular attention to every detail.
Natural cotton, our only guiding thread
At Justine & co, we work exclusively with 100% natural cotton. Soft on the skin, breathable, it can be worn by the sea as well as on a terrace. With time, it develops a patina, softens, becomes even more beautiful — like all beautiful things.
One piece, hours of work
Each top, each dress, each cardigan requires between 6 and 15 hours of work. Stitches are counted, fringes are knotted one by one, finishes are checked by hand. This is not fast fashion. It's the exact opposite.
Why choose a crocheted piece?
Because it is unlike any other. Because it will transcend seasons, trends, years. Because by wearing it, you are also wearing the gesture of the person who made it.
Justine & co — handmade, worn with soul.
